I CAN, BECAUSE HE CAN!

The following thoughts helped me today to be peaceful. I hope they will help you.

Jesus was the perfect human, even though in the garden of Gethsemene He wavered for a bit. Still He was considered faithful unto death, the perfect Man.

He has called us to do the same - to be faithful unto death.

We feel weak, and unable.

But remember this… “Christ IN you, the hope of glory.”

The faithful Jesus indwells us in the form of His Holy Spirit. We as weak human beings are unable to be completely faithful, but HE in us makes it possible.

Read that again.

Jesus IN us makes it possible for us to be faithful...because it’s not completely up to us. Most certainly the One who was faithful to the bitter end of His life will be able to also do that in and through us.

If you need to, READ IT AGAIN. And along with me, determine to live like YOU BELIEVE IT.

 

Embrace and own that promise and that power. It’s OURS already. Hallelujah!

Let’s keep reminding each other to keep our eyes on Jesus, and remember that His name is Emmanuel, "God with us". He is the God who said I will never leave you nor forsake you. I believe His promise is true. And deep in your heart, you know that you do too! Don't let the enemy of your soul tell you otherwise. If you're like me, you must pray frequently, "Lord, I believe! It's just a mustard seed of faith, but You said with that I can move mountains. Please make up the difference for my unbelief."

We are able because He is able!!
